Amazon “Pending Verification.” What does it mean to you?

“Pending Verification” means Amazon is verifying your payment method. Amazon will attempt to confirm your payment method and order details.

All orders go into a pending period for about thirty minutes while Amazon verifies funds. Orders that stay in pending longer than thirty minutes might mean an issue with the buyer's payment method or a convenience store payment method. In some cases, Amazon’s payment and order detail verification processes can extend for as long as 21 days.

A newly added credit card will be put on hold by Amazon if the billing address entered in the Amazon payment option does not match the actual address recorded with your credit card provider. Double-check all the information such as name, card number, and address you’ve entered is correct.

Check the status via “ Your Orders” or contact Amazon customer service,  here.
