How does an Amazon Wish List address work? When you request items on a wish list, make sure you have an associated shipping address. Without an address, other users have no way to send items to you. If you create and share a gift list for someone when others buy items from that list they can choose to have Amazon ship to the address you select. According to Amazon, the full address will remain confidential.
Follow these steps;
Log into Amazon and click “Wish List” at the top of the screen next to “Cart.” Choose your wish list. On the top right, click “List Actions.” From the drop-down menu, select “Update List Profile.” Click “Use an Existing Shipping Address” and select the address. If you don't have one, it will prompt you to add one. Under “Third Party Shipping Agreement,” check the box to allow third-party vendors to send you items. This lets you receive items from vendors outside of Amazon. Click “Save Profile Settings.”
When purchasing from a seller, the shipping address will only be available if the list owner has enabled third-party address sharing. If not, you'll need to enter the shipping address manually.
To update your default shipping address, click “Manage List” from the list-menu at the top of your list.
