How does an Amazon (Hub) Locker work? Amazon Lockers are a secure, self-service delivery program to improve Amazon’s delivery service and aid against stolen packages, missed deliveries, etc.

You can add an Amazon Locker to your Amazon address book and select the location as the shipping address during checkout. Once your package is ready for collection, you’ll receive an email (or text message) with a unique 6 digit code as well as the address and opening times for your selected Locker location. The barcode scanner is beneath the Locker's touch screen.

There are certain package size and weight restrictions. If you want to return an item, you can drop it off at a Locker regardless of where it was delivered. All packages delivered to the Locker must be collected within three days. If you are unable to do so, the package is returned to Amazon for a full refund.

Prime members can get their packages with FREE same-day, one-day, or two-day shipping and there is no extra cost.
