Pro Tip: Click here to see if your order is shipped. If it isn't shipped, you can update the delivery address of your package to a location that is more convenient for you.

Certain orders on Amazon required a signature upon delivery. This is typical for products that are more expensive. Your signature gets used to confirm that your order's received.

If you need to sign for your Amazon.com package then you're required to be at home when it arrives. Only the owner of the relevant account is eligible to sign for the order. If a teenager is the one who placed the order, their parent is responsible to sign for the item.

What if I'm not going to be at home on the delivery date?

If you're not able to sign for your order due to prior commitments, then it's easy to change your order's details. Sign in to your account and choose 'Your orders'. Then select your order's details and choose to 'Change your order information'. Use this feature to update your shipping address.

You're able to make sure your package still gets sent to you, even if you're not at home. For example, if you're going to be at work, set your shipping address to the location of your office.

Or, if your order's shipped already, you've got to call the carrier company. Arrange to pick-up your package from the carrier offices and sign for it there.
